This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to Meta Pixel Checker (the “Extension”), published as a Chrome browser extension, and the related online services operated at ws.metachecker.sbs and metachecker.sbs (together, the “Service”). By installing or using the Extension, you agree to this Policy.

1. Overview

Meta Pixel Checker helps you debug and validate Meta (Facebook) Pixel events on websites you visit. The Extension inspects fbq calls, shows event parameters, warnings, and duplicates in real time. The Extension may also connect to our backend to receive updates, run diagnostics, and sync data when those features are enabled for your installation.

2. Data controller

The Service is operated under the metachecker.sbs domain family. API and real-time communication use ws.metachecker.sbs. For privacy requests, contact us using the details in Section 14.

3. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Extension and which features are active, we may process:

4. How we use information

We use collected information to:

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Legal bases (EEA / UK)

Where required by law, we process data based on contract (providing the Extension), legitimate interests (security and operation of the Service), and consent where applicable for optional processing. You may withdraw consent by uninstalling the Extension and requesting deletion of stored data.

6. Transmission and storage

Data is sent over HTTPS and WSS (TLS). Messages between the Extension and ws.metachecker.sbs may use additional application-layer encryption tied to your installation. Data is stored on servers operated by the Service and retained only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

7. Remote configuration

The Extension may receive configuration or diagnostic script payloads from ws.metachecker.sbs over an encrypted connection. These payloads are used only to operate authorized features for your installation. We do not load executable code from third-party sources outside our Service.

8. Sharing

We may disclose information only:

Pixel debug data may relate to third-party websites you visit. We do not control those sites’ privacy practices. Event data observed by the Extension originates from those sites’ own pixel implementations.

9. Retention

Retention depends on Service configuration. Administrators may delete client records and associated data. Uninstalling the Extension stops new collection. Contact us to request deletion of data already stored.

10. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

11. Security
